Speedometer Console
The Speedometer is designed to increase the ability to fine tune all your locomotives and definitely increase the fun factor.
It consists of 2 parts – Console and Reader. The Console is common to all versions of the Speedometer but the readers are series specific.
The Reader will be offered in 3 versions – 40, 50, & 60 Series - and is a ‘drop in’ fit. Just replace one of the Saddles with the Reader and you are ready to go. The Reader is designed for the Bachrus current 40, 50 & 60 Series of Rolling Roads. It could be used with other manufacturer running stands however, some height adjustment may be necessary.
The console provides readout of scale speed (mph/kph), distance, and axle speed (RPM).
Only the 50 Series Reader is available at present; other sizes are due to be released in spring 2010.
