CLASS 29 SOUNDFILE FOR ESU
Bulletin: Dapol NBL Class 29
Class 29s were re-engined NBL D6100, or class 21s. Replacing the original MAN engines with Paxman Ventura 1350HP V12s. This was an attempt to improve reliability and was reasonably successful, but ultimately they were all withdrawn as a small non standard class of locomotives in 1971.
