MX648R 0.8A 6 function small sound decoder 8 pin

ZIMO MX648R SOUND DECODER The MX648 series is the latest, and smallest, ZIMO sound decoder for N and most OO/HO use. They have advanced capabilities, good continuous 0.8A load rating and high power sound output for their size.

The MX648R has a wire harness with NEM652 8 pin plug. Speaker not included.

Speaker Impedance - 8 Ohms minimum (4 Ohm not recommended)

Steam chuff synchronisation can be by CV or by using a hardware trigger, e.g. a cam or other sensor, installed by the user.

The MX648 series can be programmed with any of the DigitrainSound "ZS" soundfiles.
