The Dinorwic Quarry was set up to mine the slate found in abundance in parts of North Wales, with the finished slate moved by narrow gauge railways to ports and transhipment sites. Depicting dressed slates ready to leave the quarry, these Slate Loads are suitable for use either on their own as scenic decoration or loaded on to our Bachmann Narrow Gauge NG7 Dinorwic Wagons.
The idea of Digitrains was conceived over the dinner table and grew very slowly as doubts calmed missionary zeal. We finally took the plunge in January 2005 and are fortunate to be dealers for some of the best and most user friendly DCC equipment available.
