DS31P Class 31 ProtoDrive Sound Project By Digitrains. This sound project uses the same function key on some

functions to play different sounds depending on whether the loco is stationary or driving. F2 is a working brake key so

this can be used to slow the train quicker, otherwise it will continue to coast for a long period of time before coming to

a stop. F3 and F4 both have speed dependant horns, so the faster you go, the longer the tones. F5 can be used for

two different actions: Cold Start or Light Engine. Before turning on F1, turn F5 on for a Cold Start, if left on then the

loco will act as a Light Engine - This reduces the acceleration and deceleration rates. Light Engine can be turned on at

any time. F7 is a Drive Hold key (Zimo users may know this as SpeedLock); this allows you to lock the train's speed

at which it is currently travelling at. You can then use your throttle to either rev up or down, to simulate pulling a heavy

train uphill or letting the loco coast downhill all whilst maintaining the same speed. Train Mode on F10 turns the red tail

lights off (If separately wired). If your loco ever goes silent, please do check that you haven't turned on F19 as this is a

mute key. To turn the volume up or down F28 is used as a volume cycle.
