This 47 will sound rather different to the usual 47 as the
47 we recorded wasn’t in the best of health but makes it unique. The characteristic Sulzer rasp of the Class 47’s
12LDA28-C engine has been well captured and its top end thrash will certainly bring your model Class 47 to life.
First press F10 will enable the cold start option, by then pressing F1 the loco will cold start this will take about 2
minutes before start up is complete. using F1 without F10 turned on the loco will do a warm start.
This sound project has been created to enable it to be driven and will respond to how you drive it. Drive it gently, it will
rev up in an according manner. Wind that power handle round, and the thrash will commence! Should you wish to
experience the maximum thrash, when the loco is stationary wind the controller rapidly to . maximum power. You’ll
hear the engine thrash into its train.
When you change ends, you’ll hear your driver dump the brakes, aws will sound and a small hiss as the driver ‘opens
up’ the other desk in the other cab end.
With this sound chip, it is highly recommended to add an additional sugar cube speaker or use double Iphone
speakers to really get the maximum out of this project.
Reverse of the page will give you the function list and sound slot CV details.
Should a decoder reset be required, please program CV8 to 8. This will restore the decoder to the settings that is was
