This OO/HO gauge wheel cleaner features an incredible sponge strip that polishes locomotive wheels, this effect avoids scratching and possible damage to traction tyres. The conductive sponge strips pass power to all the pick-ups to gently clean the rotating wheels, connection is quick and easy via the pre-wired crocodile clips. To use the unit connect the crocodile clips to a section of your layout, then place your locomotive onto the wheel cleaner. Adjust the track power to regulate the locomotive speed and direction, if required steady the loco by hand and apply a little downward pressure for a more intensive clean. This unit is designed for two rail DC and DCC operation.
