Cattle docks like this one were used to temporarily contain livestock that were being transported by train, and therefore appeared at many stations along a multitude of railway lines. As with real cattle docks, this model authentically displays a wooden pen on a raised platform to make it easier to herd animals onto wagons.
The idea of Digitrains was conceived over the dinner table and grew very slowly as doubts calmed missionary zeal. We finally took the plunge in January 2005 and are fortunate to be dealers for some of the best and most user friendly DCC equipment available.
